Programmable Double-Grooving Machine

GLASSLINE developed the precision double grooving machine from a Customer request. The machine has an adjustable width base similar to our standard double edgers. The part enters and is squared and clamped within the machine.  The standard design grooving heads on each side travel upstream and downstream via a servo driven ballscrew.  The part then exits the conveyor.  Mist collection was also provided.  This system provided more precise groove placement and consistency than on a standard edger.
