After many years of producing CNC machinery, and utilizing third party CNC controls which had various drawbacks, In 1992 Glassline developed its own PC-based CNC control system. Existing off-the-shelf CNC controls were relatively generic and did not provide essential features required for optimum glass processing. These systems were also proprietary, making it difficult to make changes, and the cost of replacement parts were astronomical. Our CNC systems and software have been designed to provide increased throughput and improved tolerances at higher speeds, as well as other special glass processing features.
