Diamond Wheel Edge Deletion(Hard Coat)

Where coatings are applied during the glass making process, the coatings have bonded with the glass and therefore must be removed using diamond wheels, taking off a certain amount of glass. This may also apply to some other hard coatings.

GLASSLINE has produced several double edgers with the added purpose of diamond wheel edge deletion.  A compound slide arrangement is a standard design thereby allowing for adjustment of the deletion relative to the edge, and also for height adjustment.  A coolant guard is provided around the wheel for protection and mist collection if that option has been purchased.

Optionally servo axes can be purchased for automatic setup of the edge deletion head positions via recipe, or for remote adjustment via hmi.
