Corner Radiusing

GLASSLINE developed the in-line corner radiusing machine for appliance glass manufacturers as a means to produce parts with radius corners are a faster rate than cnc machines.  The machine is placed after a double edger.  In this case, the edger will do the straight edges, and the corners will be ground off by the radiusing machine. The radius that the machine can provide is dependent on the glass thicknesses.  The quality of the radius is also subject to wheel wear from both the straight edge edger and the radiusing machine, therefore the quality of the corner will be be perfect in practice.  Expectations must be tempered with the gain of cycle time. If a perfect edge and radius is required, please look at one of our cnc machines.
