Borosilicate Glass Cutter, Break and Grind Machine

(Cut-Breakout with Grind)

The Borosilicate glass cutter machine is engineered for efficiency and precision. This system is designed to transform glass strips into finished, seamed pieces through a controlled, operator-driven workflow. The line integrates two critical fabrication stages into one seamless workflow: Precision Cutting, which rapidly splits large strips into manageable, project-specific dimensions, and Professional Seaming that delivers finish edges with a high-quality seamed grind for safety and durability.

Features

The Breakout Cutter

Designed for stability and accuracy, the Breakout Cutter gives the operator total control over the initial sizing process.

Secure Handling: Once the glass is loaded onto the table, the system engages to hold the sheet firmly in place.

  • Intuitive Operation: The operator maintains physical control of the glass while engaging a tactile footswitch to activate the cut head.

  • Clean Breaks: The mechanical cut head extends with precision, ensuring a clean, straight split every time.

    The Breakout Grind

Achieve a professional finish with our dedicated grinding station. This unit utilizes advanced vacuum technology to ensure the glass remains stationary during the seaming process.

    • Integrated Locators: A footswitch-activated locator ensures the glass is perfectly positioned before the grind begins.

    • Vacuum Grip Technology: A powerful vacuum plate secures the glass, preventing vibration or shifting that could compromise the edge quality.

    • Precision Seaming: The grinder spindle moves with a controlled retraction to create a smooth, seamed edge, automatically releasing the vacuum once the cycle is complete for easy unloading.
