Cutter with Loader and Align Conveyor

The machine is used to load glass from a rack onto an aligner conveyor, and then pass it to a CNC Cutter to cut the block down into smaller rectangles. Additionally (as optional), the CNC Cutter could cut nested shapes inside the glass pane. The machine is used to handle a max size of 48” x 60” x 1/4” glass pane (other dimensions available upon request).

These features include:

Max size of 48” x 60” Min size of 24” x 35” Pneumatic Lift (Servo-driven lift is available as an option) Pneumatic Tilt (Servo-driven tilt is available as an option)

Max size of 48” x 60” Min size of 12” x 12” (if loaded manually) Chain Driven Roller Conveyor Pneumatic Aligner of glass edge

Max size of 48” x 60” with Short Edge Leading orientation Full Width Belt Conveyor with Brush-Off Vacuum manifold for part holding on the belt Patented direct drive servo rotation cutting head Linear servo motors in X-Y axis for fast speed/accel/decel Glassline proprietary, Windows PC based, CNC Control. Laser scanning feature to find the edge of the glass. Trim and No-Trim Cutting Modes

How it works:

The loader takes a glass pane from the Customer’s Rack and drops it on the Aligner Conveyor. Alternatively, an operator can manually load a glass pane on this conveyor as well. After the glass is placed on the Aligner Conveyor, a Pneumatic Aligner is actuated to align the edge of the glass and feed the glass forward to the CNC Cutter. The operator enters the glass size (W x L) on the CNC Cutter operator screen, selects the cutting mode (trim on all 4 sides, or no-trim) and finally enters how many rows and columns he wishes to cut from the glass pane. The CNC Cutter will run the laser scanning sequence to find the edge of the glass on 2 sides and the proceeds to CNC Cut the glass. When the cutter is finished, the breakout operator presses a load pedal to exit the cut-glass and allow the cutter to do the next cycle.

Applications:

The CNC Cutter with Loader Line can be used for a variety of applications, including: Cut down a glass pane into multiple smaller rectangles, as many as they can fit within the trim-down area; or evenly cut the glass pane length and width into rows and columns when the No-Trim mode is selected.

Conclusion:

The CNC Cutter with Loader Line is a versatile and efficient machine that can be used for a variety of applications. It is a valuable piece of equipment for anyone who needs to cut down a glass pane into multiple smaller, evenly sized, rectangles.
