Case Study: CNC Cutting (3)
The Customer had the need to nest cut a multitude of small shapes, such as rearview mirrors. A small 30”x30” machine was designed for this purpose. The machine included the GLASSLINE™ TSD2002 Automatic Tin Detector on the cutting bridge to verify the proper glass orientation prior to cutting. The software allowed for multi-part nesting within the block of raw glass. The linear motor cutting machine provided much tighter tolerances and faster speeds than their previous machines.
