Waterjet Cutting Machine- Gantry

The gantry style waterjet cutting machine has a welded steel frame for rigidity and servo ballscrew driven X and Y axes for accuracy.  The gantry is designed to cantilever over the tank and allows for easy removal of the tank if ever necessary.  Typically we also include a Z axis actuator for precise positioning of the nozzle for thin to thick parts.  Standard size machine is 4′ x 8′, but this design also lends itself well to easily customizing a design to the Customer maximum size requirements.   KMT pumps are typically provided, and 60 or 90 kpsi pressures are available in a variety of hp, in order to match the pump requirements to the processing requirements.  Redundant systems are also available.

Two waterjet nozzles can optionally be provided, with manual or automatic offset of the two nozzles as desired.

Automatic garnet abrasive suspension and removal system is optional, and highly recommended to keep the tank as clean as possible.  Added to this option is the ability to raise and lower the water level so that the nozzle can be below water level for noise reduction as well as reduced garnet dust.
