Grooving

A grooving head can be added to one or two sides of the double edger machine.  The groove can be a continuos groove, or optionally we can provide the means to start/stop the groove after/before the edge.  The head includes our heavy-duty spindle mounted in the horizontal plane via a compound slide arrangement, enabling the groove to be positioned relative to the edge of the glass, and also adjusted for depth of cut. A coolant guard is provided around the wheel, and if the machine includes our mist collection system, this head will be attached to the piping for coolant collection to minimize maintenance and water waste.
