Case Study 1:
An international Customer approached GLASSLINE™ with a requirement to process many types of appliance glass. This included radius corners, small holes as well as large holes for cooktops, and other requirements.  A system was developed which included: a rack change Turntable and Automatic Loader, a laser referencing station with shuttle to a CNC Polar Edge Grinder, an XY Table Style drill with three drilling heads along with a load/unload shuttle from the drills.  In addition, offline equipment produced for the system included a dual head waterjet cutting system, and a CNC Gantry style Grinder for routing, notching, etc.  The system provided a highly efficient, productive, and highly flexible system for producing the many styles of product that were required.
