Rectangles
We produce several different styles of machines and/or subassemblies for aligning the edge of a rectangular piece of glass for further processing. The Customer must decide how accurate the glass must be aligned, and then Glassline can help to determine the best solution. These systems can be implemented for example on a tempering prefurnace line, coating line, edging line, packing or unpacking line, etc. They can be done while the glass is stationary or moving on the horizontal conveyor. Some examples of different solutions include:
- Nudging (from one side)
- Squaring (nudging from both sides) – Fixed edge or Centering
- Edge Guide Conveyor
Shapes
We have produced many different styles of squaring systems for shaped glass. Many of these have been high precision systems as required for CNC processing of flat glass. Others have been for bent tempered or laminated parts. You can be confident that we can produce a system to suit your needs. Some examples of previous systems are shown below:
