The Unit consists of a horizontal spindle driving a peripheral style diamond wheel. The base of the machine is fabricated from structural steel for ruggedness and rigidity. The unit has a three (3)
Horsepower, 3450 RPM motorized grinding spindle, a coolant tank and pump, and an on-machine JIC electrical panel. The panel has four (4) controls: start spindle, stop spindle, start coolant, and stop coolant. The operator holds the glass in the vertical orientation and manipulates the glass vertically and rotationally to grind the edge.
